The final event of Literary Talks will be dedicated to the stories of seven Bulgarian writers. Writers Talk About Walls is an event about creative sharing and witnessing. It will also take place at One Gallery, from 6:30 p.m. In addition to the stories that Emmy Baruch, Zdravka Evtimova, Ilko Dimitrov, Mirela Ivanova, Olya Stoyanova, Petar Chuhov, and Plamen Doynov will tell us, they will read their own or another author’s work related to the theme. Toni Nikolov will be the host.
“Now This Is a Wall” is the motto of Literary Talks (a quote from Boris Hristov’s poem “The Wall”) with which the team from Read Sofia wants to provoke the identification of walls in our time, the (re)identification of barriers, and the naming of boundary lines, of borders: “Only if we discover our ability to talk about them is there a chance to overcome the traumatic consequences of their existence.”
